Description:Tutorial #2 - Managing pairs and layers in PWA After installing PWA, locate the Excel workbook on your desktop and open it. You will be presented with a login screen. Enter your username and password to login. If this is your first time, you will be asked to enter the account which you intend to use this program with. Enter your account and click the "Reset and Login" button. Only the account you've entered in this step will be allowed to execute real trades. To add more accounts, please contact us. While you're still on the Settings sheet, select the DDE link source applicable to you. When you add new instruments to PW in the next step, this DDE source will be used. Go back to PW sheet. If your DDE source is set to REDI, navigate to DDE links and click on the Get Redi DDE links to populate various real-time fields, such as PnL stats, SPX values, Tick and VIX. These fields are currently not available for other data sources but will be added in the future. Now we'll add some pairs and single stocks: -Click on the "Add" button to add a pair manually: Lead: ABX, LAG: GG, Ratio: 100, Bias: S for short -To import multiple pairs or stocks at the same time, let's batch import -Enter GE into Stock1 and bias as long -Enter Fdx into Stock1, Ups into Stock2, 100 into Ratio column and L into bias -click on Create Sheets button. This will create the necessary accounting sheets for new pairs - double-click on AbxGg100 pair name to go to accounting page of that pair - Click on Add layer ...
