Title:
Access 2010: Find a record on a form by selecting a value from a list
Video:
Description:By using the Combo Box wizard, you can quickly create a drop-down list that lets you find a record on a form. For example, to find a record on a form that displays employee contact information, you might select an employee's name from a combo box at the top of the form, and then the form would display that employee's record. NOTE: At about 1:35 in the video, I say to click the option, "Find a record on my form based on the value I selected in my combo box". There are some situations where this option is not available. If you don't see that option in the dialog box, you can get a workaround by going to bit.ly and then clicking the line, "The Find a record... option is not available."
